I’ve been thinking about boat shoes as well lately. Not sure how they’d best integrate into my wardrobe, but possibly as a nice way to give my loafers a rest from time to time. I’d be excited to see how you style them if you do end buying a pair.
I don’t know if I will…..but I did order some Bass loafers from Zappos. They should arrive in a few days. I got the Rag and Bone Durham boots in the mail a couple days ago, and while they were a nice shoe, I’ll be sending them back–on me, under my jeans, they just looked like cowboy boots. They were a nice quality, though–and comfortable. Very similar heel height and shape to the Acne Pistols.

I like the picture but I think I would stick with a pair of Bass Weejun loafers for a cleaner line still. It’s a really lovely look though.
